The Club are pleased to announce that we will again host our annual Wimbledon open day on Sunday 29th June 2014, the middle Sunday of The Championships at Wimbledon.

More details of this event will be released in the coming weeks, so keep checking the website. Also, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to get all the latest news on these events, as well as Club news.

This is our main summer event, and also falls on one of the LTA’s Great British Tennis Weekends. GBTW is your chance to play tennis with family and friends, for free at your local club. There is a dedicated page for our event on the LTA’s GBTW website, which can be found here.

Tomorrow, we will be announcing plans for another GBTW event, so stay tuned!

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Club, we are hosting a buffet and quiz evening on Saturday 17th May 2014, from 7pm in the clubhouse. All current and past adult members are invited to attend.

There is no charge to attend although we ask you kindly to support the raffle that will take place. We will provide a buffet and soft drinks, although we are unable to supply alcoholic drinks but you may wish to bring your own.

The seventh edition of the club newsletter covering the months of March and April, has been uploaded here.

The 2014 Wimbledon Ticket Ballot at the Club will take place on Wednesday 7th May, at 7pm in the clubhouse.
This is a great opportunity to have the chance to purchase tickets for the Championships at Wimbledon in June/July 2014.

Rules Apply:
– Must be a Club and British Tennis member to enter the ballot.
– Members have to be present on the night, or have representation arranged and officially inform the committee.

If you haven’t paid for membership yet, there is still a chance to be eligible for the ballot. Please submit membership applications as soon as possible. More information and forms can be found here.

Just a reminder that there is no tennis coaching at the Club over the Easter holidays. The new term of coaching will start the week beginning Monday 28th April 2014.

1st April 2014 marks the start of the new 2014/15 season and with that, it is time for existing members to renew their membership but is also a perfect time for new users to join the club as members. The 2014/15 season is also the Club’s 25th anniversary year, so join us in what promises to be the biggest year in our 25 year history! And to celebrate, membership for Mini Tennis players (born 2004 or later) is only £25 for the whole year!

Membership to the club has many advantages such as:

– Entry Into Club Tournaments
– Represent Club in inter-club matches/leagues

The membership form for the new season can be downloaded here. Please then hand it in with payment to a coach during your coaching sessions or alternatively post it to the address on the form. All fees are asked to be made by 1st May 2014.

On Sunday 23rd March, the Club will host a morning of tennis to begin the new 2014/15 season. This season will also mark the 25th anniversary of the Club, with this event marking the first of many celebratory events.

– We will be hosting a tennis fun and games session for all Mini Tennis (Red, Orange & Green) players between 10am and 11:30am.

– Then we will be hosting a touchtennis session for all Junior and Adult players, from 11:30am until 1pm.

We have produced this poster just to remind you of the events/important dates coming up over the next few weeks in the lead up to the 2014/15, during which we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary!

The committee have some big events planned to commemorate our 25th season, but we would like to hear your ideas too! This is why we have created a small questionnaire for you to complete and let us know what you would like to see happen at the Club to celebrate our 25th anniversary.
The survey can be completed online here, or on hard copies available from the clubhouse.
