Summer Holidays 2016

With the school year as well as Wimbledon 2016 nearing their end, there is still plenty of tennis to be played over the summer holidays at CTC! Our summer holiday schedule will run from Thursday 21st July 2016 to Saturday 20th August 2016.

– Our coaching programme at CTC will continue to run weekly throughout the summer, including groups for all ages and abilities, matchplay/social sessions and Family Fun Fridays. Our Ystrad Tennis outreach project will also keep going through the summer at the tennis courts in Ystrad Mynach Park.

– Our popular day camps for 6-12 year olds return on Wednesdays and Fridays between 10am to 3pm. These are mainly tennis based with coaching drills, games and matchplay but do include other sports/activities such as football, pool and table tennis. Players should dress appropriately for the weather and must bring food and drink for the day, although we do run a small tuck shop. The dates for this year’s camps are as follows:
Week 1:                                 –                                         Friday 22nd July
Week 2:                  Wednesday 27th July                     Friday 29th July
Week 3:                  Wednesday 3rd August                  Friday 5th August
Week 4:                  Wednesday 10th August                Friday 12th August
Week 5:                  Wednesday 17th August                Friday 19th August.
Price per camp: CTC members £6, non-members £8. Payment via cash or cheque (made payable to Caerphilly Tennis Club).
Spaces are limited and so advise you book in advance, as opposed to just turning up on the day, to guarantee your child a place. This can be done by printing, completing and handing in the booking form or by contacting CTC Head Coach Jonathan Morgan on 07891 640642 or at jonathanmorgan@caerphillytennis.co.uk.

– And we will host our Summer Finale event on Saturday 20th August from 3pm to 4:30pm. More information on this will be posted online and made available at the Club in due course.
