Ystrad Tennis Returns To The Park For 2016!

CTC are very excited to announce that our Ystrad Tennis outreach programme will return to it’s original home at Ystrad Mynach Park, starting next Saturday (11th June 2016)!

As many players/parents know, we have been trying to plan a return to the park for the last month or so but have come up against some problems, including permissions, responsibility and access which stem from the council and adjacent bowls club. But after further talks, we are not only able to offer our coaching sessions but can also confirm that the courts will be unlocked for the summer, allowing players free access during the week!

With the move back outside, we will be offering 3 hours of Mini Tennis coaching every Saturday, and the programme is as follows:
Mini Red (5-8 years old) 10am – 11am
Mini Orange (8-10 years old) 11am – 12pm
Mini Green (10-12 years old) 12pm – 1pm

Sessions will continue to be just £2 per player. We provide all equipment, and have rackets for players to use if you don’t have your own just yet. We do encourage players to dress appropriately and to bring a drink. There is no need to book in advance or commit long term, meaning you can turn up to your session when you wish and are available.

If you do have any questions regarding these sessions then please contact our Head Coach Jonathan Morgan on 07891 640642 or email jonathanmorgan@caerphillytennis.co.uk.
We would encourage everyone to like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for updates on these sessions each week. And on these platforms we will be using #YstradTennis when posting about our Ystrad Mynach Tennis Programme, so remember to use the hashtag when posting about your tennis with us!
