At CTC we offer a range of weekly group coaching sessions for Adults (18+ years old) of all levels and experiences, whether you are a regular player, a seasonal player or picking up a racket for the first time!
Courses
- Tennis Xpress
- A six week course designed to get you serving, rallying and scoring! The perfect way for adults to get started or return if you’ve played previously.

- Xpress Plus
- A follow-on course for Tennis Xpress graduates to keep learning and playing on the same day, at the same time, with the same people.
- Plans arranged with Tennis Xpress groups.
- Adult Improvers
- Next step in adult players journey, building skills and confidence whilst introducing simple tactics to be able to play singles and doubles matches.
- Group 1 on Wednesdays at 7:30pm. Group 2 on Fridays at 6pm.
- Adults A.D.V on Thursdays at 7:30pm
- Adult coaching programme for Improvers and Intermediates. A.D.V = Active. Development. Variety.
- Helps players build a well rounded game (tactical intention and technical execution) in both singles and doubles play.
- Men’s A.C.E on Mondays at 7:30pm
- Men’s Only coaching programme for Improvers and Intermediates. A.C.E = Advance. Compete. Enjoy.
- Expands a players’ knowledge of different tactical situations and equip necessary technical adaptations across both singles and doubles play.
- Ladies S.E.T on Tuesdays at 7:30pm
- Ladies Only coaching programme for Improvers and Intermediates. S.E.T = Social. Exercise. Thrive.
- Explores common tactical situations and the required shot techniques to deal with and succeed in both singles and doubles.
Drop-In Sessions
- Adult Drills *Currently not running*
- A weekly drop in session for players of any ability/experience with a new theme/focus each week. Players are welcome to suggest/request topics they want to work on.
- Cardio Tennis *Will return again next summer*
- A fun, social workout on a tennis court where you could burn 600 calories! It doesn’t matter how good you are, we put the music on and get you moving and hitting loads of balls!
Other
Family Skills & Fitness – The return of a classic! Includes activities to develop general sporting and tennis specific skills, plus a few basic fitness drills. All activities and drills will be adapted to cater for varying ages, abilities and experiences.
